About Pro Italia

Pro Italia - Selling Italian bikes since 1987. In the 37 years since our doors first opened, Pro Italia
has become an iconic presence in the motorcycle community.

We carry a wide selection of bikes that focus on style, sophistication, and performance -
Ducati, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, MV Agusta, Energica, & Royal Enfield. Our qualified service department
has extensive experience with all the bikes we sell.

How it all started: Bill Nation, Eric Lewald, and Glenn Morgan met in college and rode Italian and
British bikes together in Tennessee before traveling to California to work in Hollywood. Bill made his
mark as a professional photographer, Eric as an animation writer, and Glenn as a film editor. But
they never lost their love of motorcycles.

When our local Ducati dealer closed, the three of us partnered with friend and fellow rider Earl
Campbell to create a new dealership, one that would always be enthusiastically rider friendly. Pro
Italia was born.

We leased a small storefront on Verdugo Road near the foot of the famed Angeles Crest Highway.
We gutted it, turned the front area into a retail space, and transformed the back into a service area.
The shop was small but inviting, the kind of shop we had always imagined when we were customers:
a dealership owned and run by fellow enthusiasts.

Pro Italia soon became known as the hub of Italian motorcycle culture in Southern California, a
meeting place for riders, and one of the top Ducati and Moto Guzzi dealers in the country.
Aprilia and MV Agusta were added to the lineup, and other brands followed.

In 1996, we moved down the street to a much bigger and more accommodating location, and Bill
later took over day to day operations. We have since added two more satellite spaces in the same
block, to better serve all our customers, whether you’re an experienced rider or new to the sport,
well-heeled or on a budget.

Today, Pro Italia continues to sell and service a wide variety of new and pre-owned bikes and
provide parts and apparel to our local and long-distance customers. We have made our reputation
on the knowledge and experience of everyone on our staff.

Unlike most dealers, we welcome trade-ins, and offer demo rides. We are involved with various
events throughout the year, and we sponsor the LA Ducati Owners club, which produces a variety of
rides and events.

Visit us near the junction of 2 and 210 freeways in Glendale, north of downtown Los Angeles and
convenient to the Hollywood Burbank airport.
